Society for the Advancement of Human and Nature (SADHNA), a non-profit organization, is registered on 22-06-2006 under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 (ACT No 21 of 1860) and HP Amendment Act, 1973 in the office of Joint Registrar, Firms Societies and Chits, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.
Objectives
- To preserve and conserve the Himalayan Primary Bio-diversity and natural resources
- Conservation, enhancement and utilization of forests and their resources
- Promotion to agro-forestry and horticulture in rural areas
- To facilitate employment generation through land development and other allied land based and related activities including plantations
- To promote increasing national understanding amongst youth
- To organize activities for the preservation of culture heritage especially of the rural areas
- To work for the improvement socio-economic status of the poor and illiterate backward population
- To organize programmes and activities aimed at farming and agriculture
- To recognise the students, scientists and farmers working in the field of agriculture

ISSN: 2229-3744 Print; 2250-0499 Online), is a NAAS rated quarterly journal that contains peer reviewed research, conceptual, theme and review articles on all aspects of agricultural sciences including biology, engineering, agronomy, horticulture, forestry, crop protection, breeding, genetics, processing, soil and water management, agricultural and bio-resource engineering, agricultural economics, nutrition and dietetics, animal sciences, extension education, social sciences including environmental pollution and allied agricultural research to preserve and conserve bio-diversity and natural resources. High ethical and professional standards are maintained while publishing the Journal.
The Journal has been brought out since 2011 by the Society for Advancement of Human and Nature (SADHNA) registered on 22-06-2006 under societies act XXI of 1860 (ACT No 21 of 1860) and HP Amendment Act, 1973 in the office of Joint Registrar, Firms Societies and Chits, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh with its permanent headquarters at Vill. Seri, PO Bakhaleg, Tehsil Arki, Dist Solan, Himachal Pradesh, India. The main chapter of SADHNA has been started at Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, Solan Himachal Pradesh, India.
